I got these beautiful Avon nail polishes yesterday - Blue Flare and Ruby Slippers
Blue flare is a beautiful grayish blue color which I'll swatch some other day and Ruby Slippers is just a perfect Christmas color! Not so long ago I got China Glaze Ruby Pumps - I like that polish very much but I have to admit I was a little disappointed when I got it...I was expecting a true light red with glitters (that's the Christmas color for me), but it's not so light...it's more of a dark raspberry color.
Avon's Ruby Slippers is the color that I expected China Glaze Ruby Pumps will be like. It is a bright strawberry red with a bit smaller shimmer compared to Ruby Pumps. It is GORGEOUS!
On my crappy photos it looks like it has silver shimmer...it doesn't! it has sparkling red shimmer.
The only bad thing is that even with 3 coats of this nail polish you can see the tips through and it is not really a long lasting...I put it on yesterday evening, took photos in the morning and you can already see the tip wear...but anyway, I like it a lot.

I have both of these colurs.
OdgovoriIzbrišiRuby Slippers is really "christmas colour". But for me is to bright, I like darker red nail polishes.
Blue Flare on the other hand is really gorgeus.
Gosh, Avon here in Portugal doesn't have these beautiful colors :(
OdgovoriIzbrišiwaw, this really is gorgeous! Love the reds and this one is definitely a stunner. Eventhough I love my Ruby pumps I would prefer Ruby pumps without the big glitter and so this Ruby Slippers would be great polish! Can't wait for the comparison:)
